Best USB Cigarette Charger for two iPads?

The cables don’t last forever either. Amazon makes black iPad charging cables of various lengths that work fine and are reasonably priced under their Basics lineup. I’d borrow or buy a new cable first before getting a new charger.

    Old Jet engines

Engines don’t matter for RVSM, but the operators don’t want to sink in the money for both hush kits and the avionics needed for RVSM. It’s a fatal one-two punch for the older jets.

SAT College Exam to Include Adversity Score

Don’t forget the rest of that entry. 2: an original or indigenous inhabitant 3: a local resident Suspect it’s being documented to fit #2. Never had to worry about that myself, having Irish and Scot, especially the stubborn parts.

Seminole Inverted - Gear Up in Grass

I’m landing on a full runway if I can’t get the gear down since they’re wider than most taxiways. If I can I’ll be willing to go to an airport with two runways but I prefer stacking the deck in my favor as much as I can.

Garmin 430 to 530 - Is it easy to exchange/modify?

You’d make a terrible thief. Or a terrible politician. But I repeat myself.

Garmin 430 to 530 - Is it easy to exchange/modify?

Yep, there are unique serial numbers on each unit. Some installers don’t write the serial numbers down when putting them in though, so it can be hard to track. Quite certain any decent installer nowadays will put the numbers in the logs.

    GA pilot decline

Don't be, I feel the same about Texas. Interesting idea, looks kind of like an LSA Cessna 336. The visibility would be fantastic. When are you expecting to have a flying prototype?

    GA pilot decline

I live in Oregon, where there’s both an active hunting community and a bunch of, as you say, environmental wackos, and quite frankly most of my friends who did hunt say that they just don’t have the time anymore, or viewed it more as their father’s hobby, and just aren’t that interested. It’s...

    Ipads

Does the new Mini work with the last generation mounts? Last I heard before the release of the 5 is that it’s supposed to, but haven’t heard any field reports yet.

    New to flying...again

Not Jestro, but I also had Wally as my primary instructor in the Champ. I chose the Champ as it was almost always available. He'd be in the backseat and eat sunflower seeds, and dump the shells over the encroaching development on climbout. Great fun.

Claims of Shoddy Production at Boeing plant in N. Charleston SC

I had to wonder what direction Boeing was taking when it moved its headquarters from aviation friendly Seattle to aviation hostile Chicago. Putting barriers between top management and line workers is something that tends not to go over well.

    June 1, 2019 what will a GNS430W cost?

What has been the impact of the 175/375 on the larger screen 530Ws? I’d think that they would be less impacted by the new units.

Tools and over-water emergency gear for round-the-world flight

Use an aviation specific spark plug socket. And if you’re going down the road of adjustable pliers, I’d suggest smooth jaw parallel pliers like Knipex.

    Upcoming Piper Announcement @ SnF

I could see this as a good move for somewhat smaller schools. Looks like an upgraded Cherokee 140. Just curious, what was the price in 1969 for a Cherokee 140?
