My flight school has problems with them as well. It's very random, sometimes it happens a lot over a short duration and other times it will go hours without happening. Not sure what the solution is but it wouldn't prevent me from purchasing a particular plane.

I use them to backup to my own raid server and mirrored drive. Have triple copies and can survive double drive failure. I don't use their servers but good to know.

I find it's nice to overlay on top of the VFR sectional. It makes the airspaces easier to identify and still let's me see all the stuff of the sectional too.

I use Crash Plan. Set it and forget it. Free version backs up to any local drive while the paid version will do it to Crash Plan's servers.

I don't mind the Auto Start-Stop but that Skip Shift would drive me NUTS! One of the reasons I chose my car (Ford Focus ST) was that it was only sold in a manual transmission. Luckily Ford didn't put that system in this car.

I fly out of KTPF as a student now so I will most likely be there. Depends on if the real boss (spouse) has any other plans for us that come up then but it's unlikely.
