So from the article it seems they kind of knew where the interference came from but wouldn’t disclose it to protect identities. They name their paper "GPS Interference Happens". Basically saying s**t happens, deal with it.

I wonder if they had jammed flaps. When I worked at ExpressJet as a tech we had several no flap landings per year due flap problems. Landing speeds were pretty high. We use to go out on the ramp to watch the high speed landing with emergency crews chasing behind them when the pilots called in...
