Cleaning out shop, KT76A any value?

I'm guessing there's a someone or two that's nursing along their ADS-B compliance with one of these alongside a skyBeacon/tailBeacon and wouldn't mind a spare just in case.

If you a buyer, you can pay via PayPal. If you are a seller, the payment must route through eBay.

    narco avionics repair

So if it's hard to get your money back with Venmo, how can a small business owner get burned by taking customer payments via Venmo? (I can understand a small business owner getting burned by paying a supplier via Venmo)

the "not worthy of it's own thread" thread

    1. None of the planes seem to be high wing. 2. Sounds like Google AI. ChatGPT/Microsoft might do better.

    Let's talk turbines for SELs

The website says that in addition to Jet-A this engine can also run on UL91 and AVGAS (100LL). That should make for an entertaining conversation with the FBO. :)

That's very much an oxymoron in my book.

    iOS 18 ???

Upgraded on Tuesday (2 days ago). No problems, other than the fact that it wouldn't go until I freed up 10.5GB or so. With RCS support in iMessage, the wall around the garden got a little lower.

    Scooters safe for GA?

e-bikes are pretty well classified and regulated. A physically fit rider on a conventional bicycle can easily outrun a conforming e-bike being operated on throttle-only. Scooters, on the other hand, are an entirely different story.

    Shutting down

Master last because you want the beacon to be on while the mags are hot? Also, avionics is last on and first off because you want the voltage to be stable.

Hot starts and engine shut downs

BTW, the Skylane made a change as well. The 182T describes the return line but in the 182S, fuel is a one-way trip from tanks to engine.

Hot starts and engine shut downs

Well whatdya know, I learned something new today. But not only serial numbers 9491 and up but there's also a mod kit for earlier 172S as well. https://downloads.regulations.gov/FAA-2012-0846-0004/attachment_5.pdf EDIT: Poking around a few planes that I know, it would seem that serial number...

All things equal - which approach are you taking

RNAV for the second reason cited by @midlifeflyer However, I don't think it's a huge difference. Maybe it's because of the equipment I usually fly. Also, both RNAV and ILS are subject to interference but I haven't quite figured out which is worse.

Location reporting in magnetic or true?

How about "by the racetrack coming up on the town of Webster"? I figure those flags on the sectional are what somebody wants you to use.

Somehow, I doubt they'll be that tenacious depending on what you declared (e.g. "Mayday, I'm on fire")

Perhaps, but the drop-off at the edge of reception would be different and possibly better.

I don't think you're obliged to answer the question in that situation, much less even pay attention to the question.
