I'm actually a fan of historically accuracy when it comes to replicas/recreations, that's why I found it so interesting. I also understand that many pilots lost their life just trying to fly planes like these. This guy just doesn't fly around in circles for his displays:

My question is how much does the acceleration suffer from having those giant wheels? Also the speedometer readings are completely useless after such an increment in wheel size, or at least I think so. I don't know if they would go to the trouble of swapping gear ratios, etc.

Oh I've been offered one of those, but the point of a bike ride is being outside, checking out the view, etc. We have a really nice bike route in town, no cars to worry about.

That's awsome Brook! I am in need of some cardio work. I was bicycling an hour a day until the temps went below 50F. I guess it's back to a boring treadmill.

Well, performing my senior recital is my last requirement before graduating with a BA in music. Before being allowed to play the senior recital you have to pass a "hearing" in front of some faculty. If they don't think you are ready they won't let you perform.

Senior recital is over! It went well; people's comments are always better than I would give myself, but it's all over, now I'm a college graduate. There are both video and sound recordings, I will eventually see if I put them online.
