I've owned Cessnas 172, 182, and now LSAs - all high wings - so that's what I like, apparently. Of course, nothing beats the looks of a low wing. Even a slow Cherokee looks fast sitting on the ramp.

I run my 912ULS and Rotax 912iS on 91-E10 autogas about 90% of the time. I haul it from the pump to the hangar in six 2.5-gallon No-Spill jugs. I fill up with avgas on XC. I change the oil at 50 hours, regardless. Never had any issues.
A loooong stick thingy to jab at and kill spiders. Something long enough that, if you miss, you'll have a head start in running like hell away from the angry arachnid.
