We usually land at SSI. Jeckyl is nice from what I hear, but I've been told there is not a lot to do.

I have the aspen MAX panels, and I swapped from a KT-74 to the GTX345. I absolutely love it. Getting the information on my aspens and my ipad without a separate stratus unit is really nice. It also shows on my 430 but the resolution on it is crappy.

I have a droid phone, but I still use foreflight. I wish it were available on android phones.

I guess if you're on final, there isn't much advantage. I think it busy airspace, they'll clear a path for you.

Okay, went to hangar. 12v between those two points with master switch on. So, it's most likely an alternator issue? Battery was 13.1 volts measured at terminals. Maybe a little low because of discharge from Friday. I put a different trickle charger on it and it shows it's not fully charged, so...

It was a digital gauge on the panel. Battery didn't even cross my mind, so I was just looking at the gauge to see if the alternator started chargine. I didn't pay close attention. I'm heading back out there this evening (98 heat index right now, ugh), and I'll put a multimeter on the battery...

I can't swear to the baseline voltage. I noticed the ammeter suddenly stopped showing positive at the end of my last flight and the battery power notifications showed up on my aspen panels. I did notice that I was only producing 13.3-13.4 instead of my usual 13.7-13.8 during part of the flight.

Since I have no alternator switch, I assume just the master switch? I bought the plane 10 years ago, and never had anything done to the alternator. Prob put 600 hours on it during that time, so I know it may have some mileage on it. I'm in middle Georgia, so any rebuild will have to be done...
