    My 2 cents....unless you have a strong reason to go elsewhere, stay home. One advantage for going elsewhere is that the CFII probably is familiar with a particular DPE Checkride which frankly, will help with passing the Checkride but may do a disservice with learning how to fly in the system...

    Only issue is a C3 typically takes longer than a C7 because C3 are exempt and charitable where a flying club is a C7 and not charitable.

    Their minimum standards don't allow for ssm fuel. There are no extra tanks for SS fuel out of fbos. They would have to be put in and airport won't do it.

    Probably should have separated that comment from the main point of thread- KPWK board does not care for providing reasonably priced fuel by 1 implementing muni SS fuel or 2 alluring a FBO to offer as fuel which would reduce price.

    They are resurfacing the main runway and there is an intersection area of the three runways that will be worked on that weekend. Entire airport will be closed for fixed wing aircraft. See their website chiexec.com for notice.

    KPWK closed from 7/29-8/1

    They are doing runway repaving and there is one intersection that basically affects all runways. But I would say from this airport board that is not GA friendly it doesn't surprise me they didn't consider Oshkosh. Very poor planning.
