It looks to me like something happened while maneuvering for landing at KSAV and last minute they turned towards KSVN - possibly trying to align with one of the NE/SW direction streets near KSVN.

My thoughts too. Also based on ColinD's comment sounds like the airplane wasn't investigated at the scene.

ATR-72's rarely cruise higher than FL200, so Juan Browne is correct that they tend to spend a lot more time in the icing zone. Just because their published ceiling is FL250 doesn't mean they can practically cruise at that, especially one that was close to fully loaded like this.

Not sure if this aircraft has been sitting a while but I have an enterprise level account on Flightaware, and it only shows me 2 historical flights (3/29/24 and 4/1/24). Normally I can go back > 6 months on past flights.

Wasn't the MCAS back in like 2018, and they were charged in 2021?

I suspect a transponder / ADS-B out issue. If you look at the track logs there is missing data in a lot of entries, also momentary spikes in speed that are not really possible.
