All women Deltra crew flies 120 girls to NASA HQ

How about I’m not sexist because I have female friends.

All women Deltra crew flies 120 girls to NASA HQ

If we are at 7% with all the free stuff, and encouragement and fancy news articles and scholarships (a '99 tried to offer my GF a scholarship to fly at a party once - she is way to smart to be a pilot), then maybe it comes down to some other reason. At least as a group we have super smart white...

    R182 and GFC500 STC (finally)

After I landed I went back and reread the portion of the manual about TOGA and watched the Garmin webinar and it makes more sense. I flew three approaches a little difficulty in the transition between the RNAV going one way to the missed and then the ILS going the other but really and no issues...

    R182 and GFC500 STC (finally)

Oh wow, that was amazing. GFC500 flew the plane amazing. Glad we waited. Need to figure out he buttonology for the go-around as the plane kept flying straight and didn't turn as I expected, maybe I wanted it to turn over the field. No appreciable change during gear extension, did see a big...

    R182 and GFC500 STC (finally)

Mine is supposed to fly today. We didn’t not have a Navomatic but a cobbled together system (which no longer worked added we removed the vacuum syste ). Glad to have something that is made by one group.

protip: just cause you got a ppl don’t mean you ain’t a student anymore.

charging dual rates for solo flights?

You should go to a different school and quite complaining about how you would do it if you were in charge (protip: you aren’t). Five pages of whining over $20. This really is getting to be worse than NextDoor or Facebook. Might be time to move on I can get information at the airport (or charge...

Multiple 30 minutes segments above 12,500' prohibited?

Good to know that your more valuable post makes it all better. If it ain’t in writing...now that is a good one.

Multiple 30 minutes segments above 12,500' prohibited?

Seems like you don’t read so good if you can’t read my post, then what good would a document from the FAA mean to you? I told you I discussed it with an inspector and didn’t find a document.

Multiple 30 minutes segments above 12,500' prohibited?

Discussed it with an inspector a few years back, he stated that it was 30 minutes a day. This ruling or interpretation (can’t find a ruling) was based upon Alaska guys flying above 12,500 for 29 minutes then ducking down for 1 minute, then back up. Way to lazy to search for it but came up...

charging dual rates for solo flights?

I expect my student to bring me donuts. Even on days that I don’t instruct. It’s really about a lifestyle choice. If you don’t want to pay dual rates while you bring me donuts don’t come a knockin

What's Best, Cheapest Way Reach Lic. & Quals??

You sound amazing. Any CFI worth his 100LL would be wise to pay you for the privilege of instructing the top 10%. I on the other hand being in the bottom 90% of the spectrum spent at least 5K to get my PPL in 2000 and I completed it fewer hours than the national average. I’d sign you off...

    R182 and GFC500 STC (finally)

Our plane finally made it to the avionics shop for the GFC500 install. The shop just finished a 182 with G5’s so hopefully they don’t dawdle. Communication has been great and I prepped by removing the interior. Can’t wait.

Airbus envelop protection (I am curious)

I don’t either, never flown the real thing. I did nudge the stick and maybe even bumped it a bit in the sim. I do know that it will fly (sim) pretty crazy single engine if you over-control it.

Oh I see. As Airbus people say “watch the magic happen” but I don’t recall the gear lever moving on its own.

Airbus envelop protection (I am curious)

However, in ground mode and for a bit after takeoff, the controls are essentially direct because of the relationship of the stick to the movement of the control surfaces. What the OP fails to understand is that going from left wing down to right wing down is not indicative of the lack of...
