Proteus at Santa Monica has three Cirrus SR20s. Two have G1000s (Cirrus Perspective) and one has an Avidyne+G430s. Santa Monica Flyers has a C172/G1000. Both are excellent flight schools.

The workbook is a companion to the handbook. It asks questions about the material covered in the handbook. I found the workbook helped me concentrate on what I read in the handbook, or alerted me when my concentration slipped without my even realizing it.

I’ve flown 41 hours in my first year of ownership. I thought I’d get in 100 hours, but weather, Covid-19 “stay home” orders and some maintenance delays slowed me down. My plane should be finished with its annual this week, so I’ll get another crack at 100 hours starting with year 2 of ownership.
