Is Dan Gryder the biggest asset to aviation on youtube?

What else can pilots gossip about? I may be wayy off here but hear me out: NTSB takes two years to answer our questions leaving us to make wild guesses about accidents on here. Dan in just a few weeks can solve all accidents(just like us), by making wild guesses. We are obsessed with him...

    Gender reveal gone very wrong.

I hope its the pipe bomb that caused this or whatever reqson by the special effects. I can understand that. Anything else freaks me out. You guys talking about corrosion or prior stress event. That could be any flippin Cessna or Piper we fly and I hardly trust our mexhanics to be 100% right...

Unfortunate plane crash: Wagner boss Prigozhin reported killed in crash

I think they hit the ceiling of what Putin would tolerate and that stressed the main Spar, and tail of the plane.

gear up landing v tail in woodlake ca

Nahh must have been a lawyer. Docs cant afford to fly as much nowadays. Most have become employed by hospitals as medical care becomes more socialized(t). There was an article a while back that indicated the biggest fear of a BO is when a lawyer bought it.

PA 28 Lands on Railroad Tracks, Flint MI

I think the one that didnt get run over by a train should fly again. Even the prop is good. Or land in railroad track and live!!

    Mid-Air at Winter Haven

I respectfully disagree. ..and of course its just my opinion as a fellow pilot. It would be best if we could fly knowing that there are NO NORDO planes out there. Although yes in the name of safety always assume the worst. However, technology does save lives. Something as simple as a radio...

    Mid-Air at Winter Haven

In this modern day and age is it so difficult to ask for a flippin radio. Shoot they have been around for 100 years. Why the stubborn defiance. ADSB would be nice also. Whats the reasoning for not having at least a radio? Death wish? It cant be affordability…not in a world where a tank of...

KWVI Watsonville MId Air, Multiple Fatalities

In the end no rules will prevent a reckless pilot from “rear ending” someone. The guy rushing in super fast on long final was clearly reckless. Period end of discussion. Same as on a road trying to merge at high speed or passing someone cause you are better and faster and more experienced...

KWVI Watsonville MId Air, Multiple Fatalities

Recently I had the tower clear me to come straight in final, 1st to land, i was 3 miles out. A few seconds after i read back clearance to land first, I heard a student pilot, who I knew, saying he is turning base. I could tell he wasnt listening that I am on final and possible merge issue...

Airbus 320 loses large piece of elevator

This takes "PIC determines airworthiness" to a whole new level!! Anyhow this and other past accidents including Nepal, is why I avoid hopping onboard with anyone other than Western Pilots. They fk up too but at least there are more controls to prevent humans from doing the stupid things they...

Yet another deadly crash in Nepal

Looks like we will know soon. I think they said the investigation will be complete in 45 days?

Yet another deadly crash in Nepal

That would seem to be a lot of experience as a pilot. I suppose for argument sake if her driving didnt cause the stall what else could have while on final/glideslope? I would not thing the almost idle engine would be a cause? Could a left turbine failure or some other engine issue induce this?

Yet another deadly crash in Nepal

I would like to see what the pilots training and hours were. I met a helo pilot from Nepal that flies passengers that said in Nepal they dont have same requirements for commercial license, Instrument rating etc. Got his PPL in Florida and under 300 hours but said he didnt have a commercial or...

Check out the takeoff at the Lukla airport. Runway may be 1700 feet but the 12% slope makes a huge difference. Lukla STO https://www.facebook.com/reel/707215930958208?mibextid=0NULKw&fs=e&s=TIeQ9V Here is what would seem to be a safer Helicopter Landing. Same Airport...

Yet another deadly crash in Nepal

Livestream Video on Twitter does not show any concerns among passengers before crash leading me to believe plane was mechanically ok up to that point of the stall. Flaps look deployed at start of livestream video...
