My bad. Aero classic. Better than airstops for nearly $400?

Recently had a flight tire while in the hangar. Found a pin sized hole in the tube. New Aerostar tube ordered and repaired. Total costs was $389.00 for a new tube and labor. Seems an astronomical price for a flat tire. Anyone have a comparison??

I believe it’s a 1969 Cherokee 140. By zero I mean gauge does not work at all. Per the mechanic they’ve added a new ground and tested every possible fault and couldn’t come up with anything. Next he suggested swapping fuel senders. The right tank and gauge has not had any issues.

I had the Garmin 175 installed, which is the GPS only version. I also have Narco radios and would lose the GPS upon transmitting. I returned it to my install facility and they installed filters for the Narco radios. This did rectify the problem with no issues since the install.

Had an AP look at it. It’s the switch going to the Hobbs meter. Said it has the oriface where it can’t blow off causing a major leak. It will continue to ooze a drop or so every so often. Part has been ordered. Thanks for insight.
