Try the opposite: flying out of DFW and you should see the issue.

Same thing happens in DFW: AA is always more expensive, by a large margin, than the competition. At least, that's my experience.

I just took the CPL written test yesterday. I thought there were no gotcha questions and most of the right answers were very easy to spot, some options were even comedic. I thought it was easier then the test prep. Passed easily.

I have a follow-up question: Let's say you log an approach on the first day of every month. At 6 the 6 months mark, you are current. Then you skip a month. Are you still current? You would not have 6 approaches in the last 6 months, you'd have 5. Is this correct?

I once was in a similar situation, but on climb out and leveled at the cloud bases to pass under a big build up. I got a "low altitude alert" and corrected immediately and never got a phone number.

I had an Avidyne 540 loose GPS signal while in cruise under IFR. We kept the heading and told ATC about it, but it came back online after 10 minutes.

Same here. Only has full visibility in the air.

I have flown a bunch of Angel Flights as copilot before reaching the 250 PIC requirement. Most of the time I'd be PIC on the leg without the passenger and copilot on the leg with it. This way we could both fly and share expenses.

I don't have a mortgage or car payments and my score is around 820. One time I went close to the limit on the credit card and it dropped a 120 points, but it went back up as soon as I sent payment.

Today flying in north Texas it was pretty quiet on the radio. A few school planes, some jets and that was it.

Sundance (HSD) had the cheapest fuel last time I was there, and Land Rover crew cars. :)

Simulators helped me in my PPL training mostly on cross-country navigation and procedures. Now, for the instrument training, it was very very useful.
