    Spin Training urp

I would also recommend Chandler Air Service (their spin training is MUCH better than their web site) in Chandler, AZ or John Morrissey at Great Planes Aerobatics in Kansas City (no web site but you can get contact information here).

    Spin Training urp

Jay, Sorry. You can't be confident entering and recovering from spins if all you do is go through a few spins with a CFII who has only gone through a few spins with his/her CFII. If you want to understand spins, how they occur in real life and how to recover from them, then find a good...

    A Maule Found Me...

I'm not a big fan of the Maule just because I don't like the way they fly (and I would agree with the poor fit and finish comments - at least on the ones I've seen), but I sure don't see anything difficult about landing or taking off in one. I wonder what tailwheel airplane your insurance...

    Go Steelers!

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'll say this... that was a forward pass pure and simple. No way it was a fumble. From every angle it was a forward pass. That's a **** poor way for a super bowl to end.

    Adamz does the Hudson

You flew over New York? In one of those little airplanes? OMG!!!:yikes: Man, that's something I'd like to do one day. Looks so cool!

    Extra 300L video

The 300L is +10/-10 with one pilot and acro fuel. Vne is 253 mph. Both are regularly exceeded by the big boys (and girls). A two bit wanna-be who doesn't show up in any of the IAC contest lists I've found; not so much.

Are They ever going to interview Sullenberger?

Not unless it involves "Baby Caylee" somehow.

    I had to Laugh..

True, but I thought Chris was talking about doing a condition inspection (which I assumed included the sign off). In any case, yes, nice write up and good job on doing more than a cursory condition inspection - something I see a lot from owners of experimental aircraft.

I assume Chris is at least an A&P. I think someone else built the Hiperbipe, right?

Who would want to go to Gaston's...

No worries Dave. Anyone who knows you at all knows you would never intentionally offend. Looking forward to seeing you at the fly-in, whatever it's called.

Anyone Have Performance Numbers for a Bonanza A36?

This looks very reasonable. I'm usually between 17" and 19" on the final segment of the approach, depending on how heavy I am. Gear and approach flaps at the outer marker on the ILS. The A36 slows down nicely and is easy to fly at 90kts indicated if required. No need to go screaming down the...

    Duats strikes again

One of the features of flightaware.com that I love is being able to set up an email alert when a flight plan is filed on an airplane. Gets sent to my phone and I know I'm good to go. I don't know if fltplan.com uses a duats interface to file flight plans or if they have their own gateway...

    Gaston's Poker Run (2009)

Year before last Kevin, year before last!:nono: The guy I'm talking about was from the Missouri Pilots Association and wasn't part of our group. It was his second or third attempt at landing. That's all I'm sayin'. :D
