    How screwed am I

Just a lurker, but you will probably need to provide more details of your situation in order for one of the docs to give any meaningful feedback.

    Cog Screening Scoring

i got my results. I took the full battery, and I got the complete record. I took mine with a doc that works with the FAA all the time. He said that it’s a joke that some docs don’t show the results. It’s part of YOUR record.

    where to go from here.

Firstly, I am not a doctor. However, a simple google search shows me that you’re on medication that is prohibited by the FAA.

did the denial not have a path forward? Did it request you to provide further documentation or advise you to seek additional treatment?

    Neuropsychological Tests

I did the full battery, and the cog screen was performed. My advice — eat and sleep well. Also, start exercising if you’re not already. Play brain games. Try to get your mind and body in shape. Go to a doctor that isn’t just winging these things, or sending in an assistant to read you the...

You willing to travel? There are a couple docs that know FAA protocols. Joseph Sirven at Mayo, but I think he recently retired. Alison Leston - UT Southwestern in Dallas. You can call her office and her staff knows about FAA stuff. You can just tell them you have to do an exam for the FAA.

Pursing Career as a commercial pilot at 27 with DUI.

ADHD COGSCREEN advice? - Houston Area

This is precisely why I said it’s important who administered your test. Did you know you’re allowed to talk out loud during this? It’s quite helpful.

ADHD COGSCREEN advice? - Houston Area

    Supreme Court: Chevron Deference

The Supreme Court will likely be trashing Chevron deference soon. In a nutshell, this cedes power to federal agencies to operate how they see fit, citing their expertise in whatever field. Essentially, this is one reason agencies run amok. This COULD change the landscape in which we...

    Tachycardia

After a renewal, but they want a longer observation period for something else. I think their logic was, ‘since you are already waiting, then give us clarification on this issue.’ I did not check the box, as I was advised not to since it was not a diagnosis and written in error. Either way, I...

    Tachycardia

This may give you a little insight into what to expect. So, during a hospitalization for something else. There was one page in the notes that referenced arrhythmia. It was an error. The hospital didn’t know where it came from. My PCP called to clarify the note as well, and they couldn’t...
