My audio panel has ICS mode that disables the auto-mute. You may want to check and see if yours does too. Makes a world of difference.

Stopped there last year (March I think) and had the same experience. Great place to stop enroute to Alabama.

I am there usually, but my daughter is leaving tomorrow morning on a missions trip so we will be seeing her off instead. Have fun, it's a good breakfast, but a better crowd. ;)

My 182P, with an O-470, I've flown for a little over 3 years and 325 hours consistently burns 12-13gph

I bought an O-300 powered 172 about two months into training for my PPL. I got my ticket and flew that plane for 3 years, then bought a 182 which I have flown for over 3 years now.

A couple friends of mine flew into KDET to catch another mutual friend play a baseball game. (Oakland A's vs Detroit Tigers). The airport didn't seem to be in a great neighborhood, and was somewhat in disrepair. I had flight following coming in VFR and when I got handed over to Detroit approach...

Plenty of room between the seats on my 182, so I built a console and put a couple RAM ball mounts on it for various things.

The vent in the left wing was plugged. Cleaned it out and no further issues.

I can't imagine being at OSH and NOT camping on the grounds. FYI... you won't need an alarm clock, but the wake up call is always cool.

I'm not too proud.... First time I flew (in) my plane to OSH I was in the right seat and my friend/instructor was flying. Second time I flew my plane to OSH I was flying and my friend/instructor was in the right seat. Very happy with those decisions. I have flown in and out of OSH many...

182 requires HP endorsement not complex

I fly mostly between 4500 and 7500, 130-135kts true and right at 12 gph.
