Smith and Wesson model 29-2 6.5 inch barrel

That one is not a -2. Not a bad gun. It's not that i can't find one, just trying to get one reasonable and in decent shape. I'm definitely specific on what I'm looking for.

Smith and Wesson model 29-2 6.5 inch barrel

For some reason, the 8 3/8 looks too long to me. Gotta be the 6.5 or 6. I want the -2 as it's the same era as my Model 19 and it's "pinned and recessed"

Checked all of those. Thought maybe someone has a line on one.

Smith and Wesson model 29-2 6.5 inch barrel

Anyone know where I can find one of these? I've found several online but they're either overpriced or rough. Looking in the $1000. Just missed one the other day for $850 I'm going to the local gun show in a few weeks unless I find one sooner. Local shops say they don't stick around long if...

    LLC or not?

Tax and liability benefits. But I'm really not sure what those are specifically. I have the feeling that the money made won't really justify the LLC for the tax benefits and liability insurance could handle that, but I thought I'd ask those that have been there and done that.

    LLC or not?

I'm thinking of increasing the amount of flight instruction I provide in the future. I currently only have one student and the occasional Flight Review. Is it worth it to develop an LLC or just get a tax ID number and a fictitious name registration? I may develop my work further into contract...

Sounds similar to what we are going through in Kansas City. New billion dollar terminal, privately funded with no taxpayer money. Suuuuurrrrrreeeee.

    1976 C-172M speed

No, I haven't done that yet. This is just a comparison of GPS vs. IAS on a couple of cross country flights

    1976 C-172M speed

The only other issue with it is hail damage from years ago. I'm curious if that is contributing to the slowness.

    1976 C-172M speed

I sure dont. I'll check it, but judging by our groundspeed, the ASI can't be off much.

    1976 C-172M speed

It was ISA +10 and 2500-3500 feet iirc. Checked against the grpundspeed, I don't think it's the AS I.

    1976 C-172M speed

I don't feel it's much of a trade. Lol. It doesn't climb much better than others I've flown.

    1976 C-172M speed

All, I regularly fly a 1976 C-172M. This airplane will only run about 95 KIAS at 2500-2550 RPM. It seems to be well rigged and flies straight. It has a climb prop on it, but 95 KIAS seems way slow for that RPM. I've confirmed the airspeed is at least close by checking ground speeds over...

    Home made power cart

Anyone here ever build a homemade power cart for a Cessna 172? M model. It would be great to be able to power up the airplane without running down the battery so you can train on avionics. Curious if anyone's done it here.

[N/A] Police as Security at Local Stores

So your point is that when you walk into a business or location that displays a sign that says anyone entering the property is subject to search that the fourth amendment no longer applies? That is true at airports, government buildings and military installations perhaps, but I doubt that is...

[N/A] Police as Security at Local Stores

The I've misunderstood your question. You want to know what gives a business employee or security guard the right to search you when there is a sign indicating you're subject to search on their premises? That I don't know. My case law example was to show that security can conduct a search...
