    Will a G3x drive a GFC 500?

    Autopilot comparison chart

It’s price is closer to the GFC 500, so I think we’d just go with that instead. I’ve heard the install is lengthy and I don’t have as much confidence in the STC group as I do BK or Garmin.

NICE! Where are you based? I grew up and flew out of KPPO many moons ago. Who did your install?

    Autopilot comparison chart

Thanks for all the info. Does anyone know where there is a comparison chart? LOL! It's really between the Aerocruze and the GFC. I have heard the BK has been good to work with as of late. Our Archer is IFR certified and capable, but there's maybe 3 of our 12 members with an IR. I know I...

    Autopilot comparison chart

I’m evaluating autopilots for our club’s Archer. I’m looking for a comparison chart of autopilots to show the membership. No luck with a Google search. I’m comparing The GFC 500, AeroCruze and Trio. Anyone know where I can find a chart?

    Engine Hesitation Lyc. 0-235

What airplane? We had this exact same issue in our Archer. We replaced the carb thinking that would fix it. Turns out, it was the primer o rings that had worn and needed replaced. Like 6 bucks for the O rings. Try that first if it’s in a Piper.

    Garmin 430 flight plan question

I planned a 3 leg flight today to practice approaches. I put the 3 legs into the flight plan of the 430. After I activated and flew the first approach, I went back to the flight plan to go direct to the next airport on the missed, and it was gone. My original flight plan wasn’t there. I...

How to upload photos to POA?

I couldn't get the copy and paste function to work. When I tried to upload it, it says the file was too large for some photos. I'll try to figure out how to reduce the file size.

    Flying club scheduling

It will be 10-12 members in an Archer. Hope to expand to a second aircraft and increase members in the future. The mission is to provide some social element and flying a good airplane and a very reasonable cost. Whether it's for training, trips, or the $100 hamburger is up to each member...

    Flying club scheduling

For those of you in a club, what rules do you have for aircraft scheduling? We are creating a club and trying to balance providing availability and also having some structure to prevent abuse. We copied another club rules, but they seem too restrictive. Another thought was charging one hour...
