My instructor told me to fly with him a couple hours to learn the maneuvers then I can go practice them myself until I feel confident. Then a couple more with him to get the endorsement for a checkride. If you have a CFI close, maybe you don't need the accelerated course???

Good job!!! I always thought the private was the hardest because you didn't know what to expect.

You can do it in Garmin Pilot but you have to select all of the waypoints. I haven't found a way to load an approach.

The day of my private check ride there was a 22 knot crosswind 90° to the runway and I had to fly to a different airport to meet the DPE. My CFI said go, you got this. I died in a fiery crash off the end of the runway.... Wait, that's not right.... Nope, all went well and I guess I passed.
