I'd look into Spotify. If you can live with commercials, it's free. If you hate commercials and want to use it offline, it's $10/month. Easily set up playlists and no more buying the music.

I used 8 of these in our 50' X 80' machine shed and I can't believe how well it lights things up. The best part is if you want it brighter, just add more. They work year around and I'm yet to have any trouble with them...

I agree that the pilot didn't do the best job but this controller should be strung up. The guy declared an emergency. In my opinion, that means the controller MUST do everything he can to help the pilot. I don't care if he declared because he got a paper cut, that can be settled on the ground...

I'd say yes, it's a concern. I'm not sure where you're from but what if it does that and then freezes?

I've never flown in a TFR but I think IFR would be the easiest.

On my IFR check ride the DPE asked if I practiced NDB approaches. I said no and he asked if I wanted to try one. I said sure, why not. Flew one with the help of Garmin pilot and circled to land. Worked well and was really pretty easy.

Still have one in our plane, at least until I can afford GPS. I use it regularly as we have an NDB as an outer marker on an ILS.

I'm still /U so I use them a lot. :(
