I haven't seen any F-14 simpits yet, but certainly folks are doing incredible things with the A-10 and F-18. My DREAM would be to have a two crew simpit to play with this software!

From what I've seen, you can do either or. If you have a partner, they can be your RIO. If not, I believe there is a somewhat automated RIO, but that you still issue them some commands.
