I’ve had the same compass in my RV6 for close to twenty years now. During the last couple flights I noticed it’s heading being off by 30 degrees from what my Dynon EFIS is showing. Is it time to replace the magnetic compass?

I saw his video as well. I've ordered a different one but will remove the tab detector from my cockpit.

I just installed the detector about 2 weeks ago. Actually stuck on the side wall of the cockpit I’ll visually inspect the exhaust this weekend though. I just ordered a digital CO detector from Amazon.

How accurate are the little stick on ASA brand CO detectors? I have a slight darkening around the edge of the detector circle and that's it. I can't tell if that means there a leak into my cockpit. Appreciate any good advice. Thanks!

Baffle or the seals?

Do these seals look bad or can I continue to use them on my Lycoming. The photos are of the # 4 cylinder seals. The overlap is right in the back outboard corner.

I've started my break in post major overhaul of my O320. During the 2 hour flight at 75% recommended power, my #3 & 4 CHT were at 415 to 420. The CHT for #1 & 2 were in the 375 to 385 range. Is that normal for the back two cylinders?

Hello! Just received my overhauled oil cooler. I will be reinstalling it back on my Lycoming O320. I heard a few suggesting I flush it out with mineral spirit and or air? Is that really necessary post overhaul? Thanks.
