There is still a lot of room left in the south 40. It’s dried out pretty well over here but the taxi over here may still be a bit muddy.

They seem pretty laid back about it. I landed yesterday and the storm was coming in so I got the plane tied down and jumped on a bus to go to a shelter. Didn’t get around to paying for camping until today. Did not seem like a big deal to them.

Agreed. I was approaching from the east and had to break off before Ripon because there were already a few planes flying direct to/past Ripon. It would be better to join the correct heading a mile or two south west of Ripon.

Someone asked and 36 tower controller just announced that grass parking probably won’t be open today.

I’m on the field and just listened to the ATIS. Grass is still closed except for tundra tires.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Fortunately I was able to make it in today before the storms came in and dumped all the rain. I just feel bad for all the people that couldn’t fly over when the weather was nice due to the parking/camping area conditions.

I’m planning on flying from TN to Indy Friday evening and then into OSH on Saturday morning. I’ll be giving this weather analysis a good look today. I’ve got an IFR slot reserved but I’d really like to be able to fly the Fisk arrival as this Will be my first time in.

Practically those seem pretty good, I just can’t stand the way their panels look.

I’d say the diamonds have better forward visibility though....

For 250k and OPEX in Cirrus range I'd be picking up an A36. It's got the doors requirement met! (Although no pilot side door). I agree with previous posters, if OPEX isn't a consideration I'd get the Aerostar.

Yea, I don't think they are perfect, but they were fairly close. I just wish I could figure out how to make them transparent and then I could see if it overlays with the satellite view.
