    Well that isn't good...

Plane flipped over at local FBO in 60+ knot Kansas wind a few weeks ago. Written off, and definitely totaled after that "recovery"... Apparently the tie downs broke from what I heard.

    MSFS2020 Disappointment thread

I used P3D/X-Plane for 7 years before getting my PPL this July, and I absolutely attribute the fact that I got my license right at 40 hours to all that simulator work over the years. VATSIM played a big role too, communications wise.

Is 11" too big? (For a tablet device...)

I used the iPad 10.5" at first and quickly bought a mini 4 from eBay. The 10.5" was just too big, no matter where it was mounted (I tried right and left window, yoke, dash...)

    Lake Amphib, Oshkosh 2107

I lost track of how many times he was warned by different people not to go. Also, no matter how experienced or mentally sharp, 84 years old seems a bit old to be performing high-risk takeoffs in a seaplane.

Boeing 717 Deep Stall - Flight Test

Just came across this on YouTube. Doesn't look like it has been posted here before. Pretty scary situation, especially with how far over Vne they were during the recovery. Any ideas as to why not just use ailerons to roll back to level instead of the "split-s"-style recovery?

I fly to KICT often and it’s made me really like Class C airspace. Great learning experience with communication and traffic, but not too busy to do some patterns at the main airport.
