    lawnmower mystery

I’ve got 2 acres to mow. Growing up my dad refused to buy a powered mower, I know the pictured type well. Knowing you’re a bmw rider, I just bought a 2000 k1200rs with 3k miles for 3k. Still prefer my r1200s though.

I was mistaken, 757 needed a tail skid. 727 had them. Checking cartridge was inspection item too.

That was the problem, we had a few tail strikes at AA. Became a inspection item on dailies (PS) to inspect for tail strike.

Can also get rheem for diy, I did mine. I’d buy it over Goodman which is contractor quality ie. cheap.

757 also had a skid, it was a inspection item. In case of over rotation which was common when 757 first entered service.

    Why did the Concorde fail?

When I worked at Braniff we flew the Concorde Dfw to dc with a Braniff crew. Loved asking the pilots what supersonic was like since I knew they couldn’t do it. Concorde was obsolete the day it flew, the engines were a 50s design, Olympia engines from a bomber. It was loud even subsonic, no way...

    Pilot magazines

Subscribe to AOPA. Only subscribed to EAA because I needed the Dynon D-100 STC and you had to be a member to get it. Sport Aviation was way better when the old man was running the show.

Carb heat broken, ok to fly?

I don't rent airplanes anymore, it's a too expensive way to fly a slow airplane. Last time I rented it was a 173 for a BFR and my Mooney was getting a engine change (by me). If I wasn't a A&P, IA I couldn't afford a airplane.

This is What Happens When You Tell TomTom to Avoid Tolls

Driving in Merced, California Garmin actually said “leave the road” once. This was in a suburban area.

    Pilot magazines

A lot of aircraft magazines are like playboy, pictures of things I can’t afford.

Free would be reasonable, what else can you do with it? Out of limits equals scrap.

In any case if I’m paying for a rental I expect every thing to work.
