Troy did an amazing job with the meat. Who ever made the little wenies surrounded by bread deserves honorable mention for the appetizers table! All of the food was great! Wow! Tim did an amazing with home made dark chocolate ice cream! I think it had chopped up Heath Bars in it also...

I tried to pull up a little too soon to avoid the hump, but ended up dragging the tail wheel a little. :redface:

Thanks Tim! Your RV-10 is a show plane! Very nice interior and panel, and beautiful paint! The sun was brutal on 06 so I decided to buzz check for geese on 24 approach. There were actually geese on the runway on 2 passes. I was doing a public service! :D

Makes a great push point also. ;) I need horizonal for taking the cowel off. :yes: I have heard wood props need horizontal for balance. Not sure why, but that is what I heard from the old timers.

Here is the sunset over Gastons. I did not alter it in any way. It was a magical flight home. The entire sky was ablaze with color. Good day to be alive.

This was my first time and I am amazed at the beauty of the place. The weather, the antiques in the restaurant, the food everyone brought, the scenery, the river, the flying, the people. Perfect!

Geico is T minus 30 mins for main engine start, and 40 mins from lift off. I'm bringing chips, salsa, summer sausage, and Captain Morgan. Should be landing in time for lunch. Really looking forward to it.:happydance::rollercoaster::cheers:

:yes: Start moving, set and adhere to minimums, be ready to setdown and wait. I have more cool aviation stories being weathered in at airports than you can shake a stick at. Met a lot of great and generous people also.

I tried Sprint, and went back to Verizion for this reason. Rural coverage is horrible with Sprint. Launch time T-minus 24 hours and counting. :happydance:
