Somewhere over West Virginia, two weeks ago. I don't normally get above the clouds but that day the clouds were on the ground. The smokestacks coming out the fog was sort of surreal and in the second picture the clouds reminded me of a pair of swans. :yes:

Cows aren't bothered by airplanes to much. I landed at a strip that ran between two fields of cows. Several just watched as I passed by. Some had their heads over the fence eating runway grass. Now antelope on the other hand, they run if you fly in the same county with them. :) Barb

Get a hold of Bob Bement and fly to Vale OR S49. Have lunch in town and check out the murals on the buildings. I think there were about 22 of them. Bob can make you want to be a mountain pilot with his tales!

check out Elk River ID85. The town specializes in Huckleberries. Huckleberry pie, ice cream, chap stick, candles, huckleberry anything. Town is across the street from the grass strip. Pretty area. Real small town, it is about 2 blocks long and 2 blocks deep.

My F-250 Powerstroke Diesel has a manual transmission. It is only a 2006. I had to order it that way. (I don't know how to drive an automatic :rolleyes2:)
