I'm chasing a problem with my 830 not being able to dump the data logs and in talking with their tech support and asking about the upgrade I was told don't do it unless your having a issue now. They don't think the data logging issue is related but we will see.

I read the second document and from my reading of it what it will do is send data out to ADSB out emitters who are not using TSOed equipment. I would really like to see it all without a emiiter at all but that is not what I see in that doc. I'm hoping I read it wrong.

Not even close in the N40. While there a few RVs and other experimental in the N40, almost all of the RVs park with the RV section so it appears they are very numerous. Without hard data, I would have to say Cessna of various flavors are the winner.

Freq and altitude changes and headings on my paper knee-pad. Always have the knee-pad there anyway and I just use a plain blank piece of paper. does not take much time and that way I have something to look at if I don't get it right.

I work 8 to 5ish but my office is a sunroom off the back of the house. I come and go as needed but I do have to cover golives on weekends sometimes and I spend about 50% of my work day on the phone with customers so it has it's ups and downs. Like ost jobs it's what you do that matters.
