Are you using VNAV or VCALC in your GTN 650? The unit should be capable of one or the other with a configuration change.

As a charter pilot, I loathe most brokers. Almost without exception, they're an interruption in the communication process and do little more than make some calls and send some emails to take their cut off the top. Call the operator directly!

If you don't have VNAV on the GTN you probably have VCALC...which if you don't have an autopilot capable of flying a VNAV profile I find to be more useful anyway. If I recall correctly, VCALC and VNAV is a setting that can be toggled in the super secret Garmin menu that your avionics guys get into.
