    Palm Beach International Airport

Nice to "see" you again, Skip. The pilot told me today that 72Golf has logged 24.1 hours since 12/16 and anticipates about 24 more before taking return refuge in my Wiscasset hangar in a couple weeks. HR

Latest information from the pilot is that it'll be two weeks before N7872G is back in "the picture." He and his "sweetie" are enjoying the warm weather. HR

Others had been aware, you probably not, of the travels of my plane since December 15. It's been having quite an excursion. HR

    - don't know what they're wearing but guess I'd better put on my boots and get over to KIWI to clear the December 29 snowfall away from my hangar door. HR

Customs and immigration due diligence is done, we're coming back over the pond tomorrow afternoon, arriving West Palm at 3 pm local. Tucked into a Freeport hotel tonight after the wild New Year's Day Junkanoo. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N7872G So sayeth the fellow with my plane...

    can you beat 2.99?

My plane drank some $6.50 fuel somewhere in Florida(Stuart City?) When my photo pilot returns from Freeport, Grand Bahamas, Wiscasset, Maine will probably still be at $4.50, but Biddeford(southern Maine) is at $3.99. So it's slowly coming down. Auto gas was $1.989 a few days ago. HR

5 dead in Bakersfield crash of PA32

"The plane was almost 40 years old." So what! Mine is 45 years old; last time I checked this Link it was still in Freeport, Grand Bahamas for a few days before coming back to her Maine base. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N7872G HR

    Merry Christmas

Thanks, Tom; and Merry Christmas to all. No photo flight to say on this Christmas day; my plane shall be a good distance away. Last I heard was close to enter over and above Kennedy Space Center. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N7872G HR

    What to do about Neighbors...

Another option? Relocating into the country? Main problem here is that it's a leaf factory each fall. Once raked, however, the guy with the truck towing a monster leaf vacuum/mulcher sucked up the resultant 5.5 cubic yards in 30 minutes flat and drove away is a welcome visitor. Neighbors? They...

If You See This Plane - -

Thanks, James; I've been so busy I didn't think of looking at flightaware. He's going to send me memos along the way. A long trip like that should be good for the plane, as opposed to my aerial photo shoots with a lot of moderately low-level maneuvering. Plane runs/flies like one would never...

If You See This Plane - -

    - - somewhere between Maine and Florida, take a picture of my bird and email it to me. And say "Hello" to my photo pilot who's en route, to be away for a month or so. Don't know his stopover points. He's IR and with fresh Commercial rating. (Pictures are not recent. We have NO SNOW up here.) HR
