    True. And in this case they absolutely did not have WAAS, since they're in Europe. They're likely equipped with an SBAS receiver, which may or may not be used for navigation. And even if the SBAS receiver is connected to the FMS/FMC, it doesn't guarantee they have LPV capability

    Some people/airframes don't get a choice. That's the part that the small piston market doesn't see/understand often. Because G3X isn't TSO approved, it is only viable for Class I aircraft. This is great for most of us (Your 182), but not for everybody.

    Yeah, that's because anonymous mode is a function of 978 UAT units. If you need anonymous mode, you're going to have to buy a transponder and a UAT (Tailbeacon, Skybeacon, GDL)

    Privacy.com is a good alternative way to approach that same answer. They'll let you setup virtual cards, with expirations, funding maximums, etc. Useful for masking your credit card from anywhere you don't trust
