    Bad Cat Scan Math

I was in the machine for an hour or so, from what I was told. Don't really remember it much thanks to the pain meds.

    Bad Cat Scan Math

According to the discharge paperwork (and the bill...) I got 8 CT scans ~4 weeks ago. The colorized/contrast ones sure are uncomfortable.

I look at those everytime the itch to upgrade/change comes back. Haven't pulled the trigger, but I suspect I will someday

    The Mathematically Boring Engine

I suspect mine falls into that category. 4.0 V8, so mathematically it does. Fortunately bigger turbos and some software help tremendously, even if it is just the fastest most comfortable sofa you can buy.

Which Airport? - Ormond Beach, FL Area

Just went through this with my father in law at OMN. Sunrise wasn't very interested in having him on their ramp for extended periods (2-3 weeks). Flagler was much more friendly/accommodating, and also more convenient in his case.

The U.S. Air Force Just Admitted The F-35 Stealth Fighter Has Failed

Are you saying that the F35 program alone cost more than NASA's entire historical budget? That doesn't sound correct.

Anybody interested to analyze their avionics/engine monitor/flight data?

What makes your solution different than CloudAhoy? They do engine data now, right? So in theory it gives me the same playback/review capabilities.

    Tailbeacon opinions

I can't comment on reliability of the tailbeacon, but does the "transponder recert" (91.413) actually even apply to it? I was under the impression that it did not

Its fun to have any hope of finding a hangar grated like cheese.

I lived about a mile from C17 until a few years ago. Last time I was up there (last fall - after the derecho) there were multiple open hangars supposedly. Obviously I never inquired further, but when I lived up there it seemed like there were almost always a few hangars available.

Its fun to have any hope of finding a hangar grated like cheese.

While I agree with that approach, it doesn't always work. Many areas are unwilling to offer any kind of land lease to build private hangars.

    Mirage crashes in Worcester 2-2-2021

They sure do. There's somewhere around 20-30 "Privately owned" F1 Mirage's in the US.

Things I Learn in IFR Training - Who Knew?

VOR radials and GPS track don't always (or often) align. Radial 281 could be a GPS/ground track of 280, 285, 290.. etc, depending on VOR declination

    Public ADSB information "PRIVATE"

Yep, that's correct. They don't have to since they don't get ANY data from the FAA. They're my go-to source most of the time now.
