Start with a commercially available syllabus and modify it to your liking. That is what I did and now I have my own published book that others buy and use. Most commercial syllabus go in a logical order where the PTS/ACS are the tasks NOT in logical order. Key words "logical order".

Go for the Sport Pilot Instructor and start teaching in Light Sport Aircraft. Only 150 hours see 61.411. You are probably qualified already. Get it as a jump start. I am super busy here.

All else aside with the Rotax fuel injected 912iS engine I am running two aircraft only averaging 4 gallons per hour auto gas both are LSA. Carbed are about 30% greater fuel burn but still pretty good.

Depends how close you are to the NOT having enough runway. I take off in 1000 feet at 5000 foot density altitude and the shortest runway I typically use is 3500 feet but my normal runway is 6000 foot length. Plenty of margin so no need to calc.
