So. Should all airplanes have dark wings then?

What's wrong with Ford, GM, or Toyota white? Decidedly undemocratic.

Flying club members/owners: what’s your AOG policy?

I would feel kind of obligated to help get the plane back if it broke while I had it, but I wouldn't be very happy coming out of pocket if it wasn't my fault.

Buzzing houses going in Schuylerville NY

Judges often impose temporary restrictions they don't have the authority to make permanent, such as bond conditions or a temporary restraining order pending a hearing. It is also sometimes done in circumstances where a defendant agrees to it, such as a condition of probation. I'd say a...

    From another forum, landing permission

Nothing "technical" about it; it absolutely is trespassing and will get you the same ticket as if you walked, rode, or drove onto someone else's property.

Shop tries new payment techniques. Block aircraft with tug!

I didn't write otherwise. If the facts are as presented, the shop isn't getting paid for unauthorized work and the owner is getting back the plane because they won't have a case to enforce any lien.

Shop tries new payment techniques. Block aircraft with tug!

No, they wouldn't have a case for a lien. The aircraft owner should have immediately been on the phone with the state Attorney General's office consumer protection division. Performing and billing for unauthorized repairs has been a scam since we've had vehicles and mechanics. Without an...

Because, in practice, judges honor the agreements unless it is something really, really out of left field.

Wind turbine farms with blinking lights

But Duke Energy puts out enough power to supply their customers without any assistance. Ever see the pollution around a lithium mine, or the health risks to those workers?

Does FBI investigation show on background check?

That won't be a problem. An Offense Cycle Number is generated with each set of arrest fingerprints, and you can't go back and add stuff to an old number. Those submitted for a background investigation are in a completely different category and would be immediately identifiable for what they...

Does FBI investigation show on background check?

Unless you were fingerprinted, nothing will show up in a "standard" background check. CHRI, better known as Criminal History records, are only associated with fingerprint records to ensure proper identification.

    Helicopters in Ukraine

A lot of Americans felt the same in 1914 and again in 1936. Learn from history or repeat it.

Help me understand the regs! Can I log?

As I become more familiar with FAA regulations and their application, I predict the answer to each of your questions is yes, no, and maybe.

    Change of career

My only advice is to get on the stick right now if you want to make a change. I don't know if you SHOULD do something, but 48 turns into 68 a lot faster than 28 to 48.

anyone heard of auction company Pro Market Connections?

Probably more "slick" than sketchy. They don't have buyers lined up and they won't get more than the market will bear. But they will take a cut when they sell your stuff.

ADS-B Tracking Data Clears An Ag Pilot Of FAA Charges

It could have been malicious, but I wouldn't assume it is. We had a huge uptick in crop duster activity where I live several years ago due to an usually wet growing season that kept equipment out of fields. The news stations were abuzz and reports of plane crashes were off the charts, in an...
