Back home 2.3 hours fighting a head wind and one fuel stop. We had a great time and met a bunch of nice people, we are on the return list for sure. BTW I should win the brightest paint scheme. :)

We set down in chandler ok, (KQB) looks like everything east is overcast. We will wait it out for for awhile. Only problem is 6PC won't get out of his plane until someone lays out the red carpet.:rofl:

We are heading to the airport, load, fuel up and short flight up to DTO to meet 6PC, once we are ready to depart we will be looking for updated field condition. I can park at Mountain home for today if need be.

We also have to wait until the front moves far enough east we can get around the west side.

Damn, front is moving slow and more east then south could be raining there for a good part of the morning and into the afternoon.:(

Be careful what you offer, there is going to be a lot of people that might be willing to contribute to a pot to see that.

Most planes are equipped with a clear plastic for looking out, if you raise your head about 6 inches you should be able to find it. ;)

How would you compare Gaston's field to Cedar Mills? Starting to rethink taking the 10 on soft field. I have landed at Cedar Mills a few times without issue.

Great little planes, I would think it would get cramped from anyone over 6 ft. and/or 240 pounds. Easy to move around, and cheap to fly. 150-160 kts. Center line flying is the best.
