Just did a Cub check out with a 18 year old instructor. No issues at all. It was a 40 year old instructor that almost let me die a couple times. Good kid. He barely even looked up from his smartphone the whole time we were up;).

Is there an age limit? I want to bring my soon to be born son to Oshkosh, but my wife thinks at 3 weeks old he may be too young. I say start the aviation bug while they are young.

I will buy a raffle for any plane, but as a winner of a 2 seat aircraft, I would go with 4 or more seats; unless it is a Cub. I quickly outgrew my 150 after training, which is why I sold it. Just having a little more horsepower and load carrying capability is a big thing.
