    [NA]non-wet signatures[NA]

The first thing I do when I receive a solicitation for donation to alumni associations or charities is check for a "wet" signature, see if that signature smudges. There have been studies done that show there is a definitive increase in donations when the solicitation letters are actually signed...

    [NA]non-wet signatures[NA]

As long as Doc I.M. Lazy is aware of the fact that his "signature" is being used in that format it would be legal. I used to sell automated signature signing devices years ago. People would always ask me if I could sign checks and the answer would be no. The signature itself would be real...

For Sale 93 ACRE MOUNTAINTOP RETREAT 2000' RUNWAY MAY BE EXTENDED TO 3000'

not too far from me either. if I thought there was a chance that New York would open up fracking I would be more interested. I think you might have this backwards. Coming up last in a "least free state" ranking would correlate to "most free state". I understood where you were going with it...

    Independent CFI Insurance

I just talked to Avemco and they will not add the airport as an additional insured. Their explanation is that the non-owner policy is a liability policy. The additional insured would only be applicable on an owner policy. Not sure I completely understood what he was trying to convey but oh...

(NA) Heating a house with wood

https://centralboiler.com/ These are becoming quite popular up here. I hear they are quite efficient, load them up with wood and it will heat for a couple of days.

    Independent CFI Insurance

The independent cfi and airport manager know each other very well. The amount of animosity between them is incredible. How would the airport manager know if instruction was being given? I invite the cfi to go flying with me. He accepts and just happens to sign my log book after the flight.

    Independent CFI Insurance

Yeah I see where Avemco has CFI non-owner policies. The sticky wicket is the airport being a named insured. I see a spot on the app about adding your employer (as long as they arent in an aviation business). I’ll have him check out Avemco. thanks! chris

    Independent CFI Insurance

What I would like to know is if its possible for the CFI to get liability insurance with the airport as a named insured? The CFI is saying it is unobtainable. I have a feeling that he could get it but just wants to cause more drama.

    Independent CFI Insurance

The CFI instructs pilots that own their own airplanes. All of which are based at this local airport. The airport manager makes up his own rules and is not well liked. He is doing his best to kill aviation in the area. Airport is owned by the county and is losing $200,000/year. The 3 county...

That was the secondary question I was trying to ask @James331 . I thought I had read somewhere that they couldn't.

    Independent CFI Insurance

The airport authority at the field close to me is requiring all aviation related business operations including maintenance, flight instructions, rental, banner towing, charter, etc. to carry $1,000,000 liability insurance naming the Airport Authority as an additional insured. One of the CFI's...

Can a student pilot move an aircraft on the ramp?

My first CFI wouldn't let me taxi to the pumps until I solo'd. His personal decision I'm sure. He also made sure to note anytime we fueled the plane in my log book, ground operations and fuel procedures. Apparently he had one of his students that crashed and killed himself after getting his...

    Equity Vs. Non- Equity club

I’m in the process of starting a club in my area. Lots of useful information here. AOPA is a big resource. I have been working with our regional AOPA ambassador (I think thats what he is called). He has been very helpful. We are looking at 8 members. We were moving forward with a...
