Which log is used to record VOR accuracy checks?

My understanding-- and I may have this wrong because I'm a 'yank'-- is that the CAA requires that maintenance records be kept on public display in a cellar for which there are no lights nor stairs in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying...

Which log is used to record VOR accuracy checks?

Legally, you can record it using a grease pencil on the wall. If you have three separate books, I'd put it in the prop book because the VOR is attached to the prop :) What? Your VOR isn't attached to your prop... How odd...

    Martha Lunken has privileges revoked

It's the L-9B (aka 10A) that for some inexplicable reason keeps being mistaken for a Cub, including by a still-wet-behind-the-ears ASI.

This would be after the ASI looked at my Stinson and asked if I "had paperwork for the third seat in that Cub." :)

Victa (Australia) Airtourer 100 (Cont. O-200 powered)?

Thank you much for the article. Kinda cute, my boss wanted it because there were not many imported here to the US. Density altitude is less of an issue here. It's -10 C (14 F) and while that is a tad low for January, the August high is usually around 30 C (86 F). Not exactly Alice Springs...

Now I'm not saying they are dumb. But a couple of the folks I've worked with over the years have had to study for their pee and blood tests. :)

    Airplanes with friggin’ lasers

A long time ago I worked on Hueys with "toilet bowls" to deflect the T-53's exhaust up into the rotor. I always wondered how effective that really was.

    Airplanes with friggin’ lasers

Ah, for MGs (.30 not .50s) you need a Globe / TEMCO Swift... (If-n it's on the TC you don't even need a STC :) just a Class-III.) "While TEMCO was building the Swift, the company received an inquiry from the Philippine government. They wanted a military version of the GC-1B. TEMCO modified a...

From the factory Vagabonds already have a very effective two-part anti-missile system. The passive part was covered in Randolph Products "Piper Cub J-3 Yellow" and the active part controlled by that big knob-- might be blue-- low in the center. :)

    3rd class Urine test

I may not have the best health care plan... The last time "Doc" just asked me to squat in the parking lot. I asked why and he said: "Well, if it attracts a lot of ants you have high glucose. If it dries too fast you have high sodium. If it smells like meat, you have high cholesterol. If you...

Taking my daughter flying for the first time this weekend

Fortunately-- or unfortunately depending upon ones point of view-- I was a little older and my grandmother had given me a copy of 'Harriet the Spy' by Louise Fitzhugh (ISBN 978-0-440-41679-1). Mysteries did not remain mysterious for long. :)
