    All American Flights Grounded!

Years ago (1991) the power to the Rochester Airport was accidentally cut while they were constructing the new airport terminal and we were one of the few carriers that were able to continue as if nothing happened. All American Flights Grounded!

There was a time when the ability to do a manual w&b was required job knowledge but that was years ago. Now if the company computer system goes down everything comes to a halt.

LeRoy Brown bought the plane and moved it to Apopka as a museum piece. Interesting article on Capt Brown and his life and...

Where the heck do you touch down on this runway?

Interesting, it's been at least a decade since I last flew into Apopka. Back then it was known as Orlando Country Airport and it was a tiny runway with a very narrow width that never seemed to get bigger even on final. The airport was bought out by some investor that promised to build some...

    Sun 'n Fun 2013 Images

I went Wednesday, normally I go on either Friday or Saturday but I was trying to purposely avoid the larger weekend crowds. It was still busy enough to make it difficult to get to the vendors in the hangar that I really wanted to see. Did I mention it was hot, hot, hot?

If you are referring to the Brightline bag I would say the review is incorrect. Just take another look at the picture I posted with TWO headsets in my bag.

    Sun n' Fun 2013

Just a quick update: Tuesday evening I received a phone call asking me if I wanted to PIC a flight down to SnF and I jumped on the opportunity. Let me tell you it was a fantastic day for flying and attending the SnF show, I even came back home last night with a sunburn to prove it. There were...
