    GO PRO Cameras

I never knew what the white nose plug was for, I always figured it was some sort of tether for the latch. Thank you for the heads up, between your heads up and this video I have incorporated the doohickey into my setup and it's taken the rattle and shake out of the mount. Next step is to test...

iPad Mini Retina screen production to begin soon (June/July)

The biggest problem with technology is that if you wait to buy you'll be waiting the rest of your life. Now with that said, I've had the iPad Mini for a while now and I must say that I'm so glad I waited for the Mini versus the fullsize iPad, but as far as the retina display I really can't...

    GO PRO Cameras

I think the mount has a little too much play in it and it's allowing the GoPro to vibrate or shimmy. I will either have to secure it by drilling a hole and screwing it down to the base mount or epoxy it. This is the actual video that shows the wavy motion caused only after we were airborne...

    GO PRO Cameras

Thanks! That fixed the problem, with another problem cropping up. An error message would come up stating SD ERR and that was fixed with a little help from this YouTube video. Now on to my next problem... I now have my GoPro mounted on the wing strut using WingItMounts and my videos are...

    The new SSN....

That would be the equivalent of believing that the biometric scanners at the Disney park entrance actually do anything.

    Renting planes

Now, now Bart! You know that those that rent their planes really can't afford to lose me as a customer if I were to go out and buy my own. And for the record I always have one eye on www.aso.com and the other on www.trade-a-plane.com for the right deal to come along.

    Daily Pic

Well I tried to figure it out but I couldn't find it, I even tried searching the abandoned airports website site to no avail. I'm assuming that it's in your neck of the woods which would place it somewhere near Livermore, Ca.

    Happy Star Wars Day

That is not even remotely possible, that's almost like saying you've never seen the movie Jaws.

    Lets Agree to Disagree

I can think of a few aviation related topics that this nor any other aviation related board will never come to a consensus on, so that got me wondering how many could I name? The challenge to the rest of you is to name a few others. Best Headset - David Clark, Bose, Lightspeed, Sigtronics...

    Renting planes

Looks like this could really give the GA market the boost it needs, I for one am sick and tired of having to spend money to prove that I can fly their planes before I can rent.

There's Sunstate Aviation at the Kissimmee Airport KISM. They've been there a long time and are getting ready to open a brand new state of the art facility.

    Rental Rules

I used to fly out of KORL and there was never any such restriction out of any of the local schools. They did have a restriction on taking your rental to KCDK, which required you to sign a waiver stating that you understood there was no maintenance available and the you would assume the...

    Best courtesy car ever

You Sir are absolutely correct! :yesnod: That car is from the early 1980's and most GA planes flying around are from the 1970's.

    Are Some Registrations Blocked?

Yesterday as I took a walk across the ramp I was trying to show a friend how you could look up any aircraft registration and when I punched in N300EL it could not find it. Needless to say I was wrong in stating that you could look up any registration.
