    Commercial Pilot Career?

It is not my intent to kill the romance. But, if you were my daughter, I would tell you absolutely not to co-sign anything for a boyfriend.

    Vulcanair P68TC (Partenavia P68)

Thank you everyone for your kind input. It just does not sound that good already. Plus, the seller I just had a conversation with sounded like an idiot. My dream airplane is an American built high wing twin with turbo charged engines that fits in a standard sized hangar. And, there is no...

    Vulcanair P68TC (Partenavia P68)

I am interested in Vulcanair P68TC. And, I don’t know much about the brand or the type. I would like to hear how they are to fly, maintenance, parts availability, ownership this and that, and pros and cons. I would appreciate if any of you can educate me on this airplane. Thank you.

Best Glass Panel Ever? My In Depth Review of Dynon SkyView HDX for Certified

As I began my research for a future panel upgrade on my Seneca, this video gave me an excellent start. I am impressed by the way you presented the intro of the new gadgets while flying oh so smoothly! Thank you for posting the video. By the way, do you happen to know if Dynon works as well...

    Sailboats

Hi Arnie. I have sailed numerous times on my friend’s sailboat. Sailing is fun, and romantic indeed. But, it is a lot of work! And, you will need and want a crew, if you plan to sail often. That means, you are going to put your lady friend to “work”. Are you and she ready for that? Things...

    Spatial Disorientation Today

Having a solid awareness is the key to coping with spatial disorientation. It’s not, like, okay, let’s go practice SD today, right? I have only experienced SD a few times in almost 20,000 hours. The last time was in a normal climbing turn into the clouds. As soon as I entered the clouds...

What’s going on here? (JetBlue flight)

Instead of cancelling a flight and leaving passengers stranded, I flew an unpressurized 737 revenue flight from Omaha to Chicago once. Tower en-route all the way. I explained to the passengers that it was like flying a giant Cessna to Chicago. To be safe, I told the elderly, young, sick, and...

Another MX Issue - Story of My Life....

I am not trying to make any recommendation here, but just want to share my past experience. My mechanic and I had to do a witch hunt for a similar issue with the electrical system, but nothing worked. Then someone told me that an old battery can invite a Gremlin or two... Since the battery...

    Spirit Flight 696 now arriving gate 8, gate 9, gate 10, gate 13, 14, 15...

Not a good feeling is right! I wouldn’t even call it taxiing, I was “inching in” to the gate with idle thrust when my jet started skating. I shut down the engines, then had it towed.
