Last night, I realized that my 3rd class expires end of this month. I did it 5/13/13. I was under 40. Now, I'm over 40, so now it's every 2 years. I hve to go find an AME. I have a SODA for vision in the left eye. I assume that I will need to bring it to my medical.

I have that weird feeling almost every single time I fly. It always comes over me on the 1 hour drive to the airport. And since I only fly in good weather (clear/nearly clear, no storms in area, good forecast, winds <20), for me it's not weather related. In my case, I think it's the thought...

Bottom line is that even with all the gadgets, there are still some planes that will not show up on your screen. Better to learn to look outside.
