    "We don't serve your type"

One of the best I've ever heard. I don't know what happened next, but knowing my friend's father, the restaurant got redecorated.

    "We don't serve your type"

Strangely enough, I'm sitting in a diner reading this and 2 gay men walked in wearing earrings and fur coats. No BS! This reminds me of a story my friends father told me about when he was in the navy. He and a few friends went to a restaurant and a black man who was with them ordered a...

My grandmother is 92 and needs a bit of assistance, but that's just to ensure that she doesn't fall and break something.

Don't snort the dead guy.... or the cats

Yup. They were an interesting group of guys. I was watching the 100 most shocking moments in rock & roll history and The Stones occupied more slots than any other band. I wasn't aware that they were so crazy. I guess looking at them now, it shows.

    NACOmatic

Has anyone used NACOmatic? I'm a bit wary of it. It seems too good to be true and therefore probably is.

    Foreflight

Dave, I know Ted uses anywhere map which ended up not bing as cost effective for me since I use all Mac gear. I was thinking of using it on the windows portion but the laptop would be too cumbersome. Not sure if you can run foreflight on the android but anywhere map is a nice program of you...

    Foreflight

I'm making a mount for the iPhone with a yoke clip, some Velcro and an iPhone case. Looking at doing a little test run this week under VFR unless I can get the Bluetooth then I'll make it IFR.

    Foreflight

So I downloaded it to my phone and think it's awesome. Does anyone here use the bad elf or some other gps device for the moving map?

    Foreflight

Thanks for the writeup and info guys! I think I'll go with this. At the end of the day it seems to be the most cost effective and overall best option for me.

    Foreflight

Does any one have any experience with Foreflight? I was wondering how it compares to Anywhere Map or Wing X. It looks to be a similiar application.

Rough training morning,... but good to be training again.

A flight sim is a good investment. I suggest X plane. It's a smaller program than Microsoft and there's a lot of freeware. It helps with the scan a lot and you can keep challenging yourself with faster planes an different panel configurations. It ain't flying, but its a great tool to...

If you're one in a million...

When I was in Beijing most people were on bikes. I was imagining what a mess it would be if all those people were in cars. The bus driver we had who drove us through the mountains was one of the most precise drivers I've ever seen.
