You'll be OK. When I did my PPL training, after the first few flights I'd pull the plane out of the hangar, start up and do the run-up on the ramp, before the instructor/owner would join me in the plane. I think resources (including CAP) were notified immediately after the bird went missing. First email I received from our squadron (out of KFAR) was on October 10, and that indicated that the SAR was on. Our Civil Air Patrol wing was involved in some of the search operations. Heavy snow hindered the search at the start. And WX has been crap most of the last week. Most crashes happen within 5 miles of arrival/destination airport. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Thinking a bit ahead, as I look to wrap up the Commercial/CFI ratings within the next six months or so. An airline job is certainly out of the question. Looking to freelance as an instructor and possibly buy a bird down the road to do some instruction and scenic flights. Of course I am unsure...

I've heard some tales about how he conducts his checkrides... Dan is still around, based out of KFFM. Travels to surrounding areas - but is very busy. Charges are pretty steep.....
