Is it just because of regulations now & the higher costs of new technology? I guess now that I think about it there isn't a huge development cost to recover like there would've been when they first came out, since the year to year design hasn't changed much.

I wonder if Cessna halved the price of a new Skyhawk if there would be enough new customers/orders to eventually make it a profitable venture

Anyone flying from the lower part of Georgia? I could drive a couple hours and meet at a airport & share flight costs with someone but renting the local flight school's plane is too expensive for this soon to be college student's wallet atm.

Interesting to hear, used to hearing people transfer to Tech not transfer out lol. I can see the quality of teaching being more hands on at CC's, the local University I'm going to has a MUCH smaller class size compared to tech's. I didn't mention it before but I want to get my mechanical degree...

13 volts at 1000rpm? It's definitely keeping the battery from discharging there but what voltage is it at during cruise? 13.5-14.5 is ideal and should definitely mean the battery is charging and not just being maintained.
