St Pete air club is pretty good. I have hangar at Whitted but belong to the club just in case I need a plane and mine is down. $15/month to belong nice planes. I know the mechanics that work on them and its done right.

I think if you rent you can get a "faster, more acrobatic" model. Bigger flaps, tighter cockpit you get the idea....

Please don't ever consider being a landlord. Tenants are literally a dime a dozen. Bad ones out...good ones I took care of and stayed. Most eventually bought the unit from me. Took five years but I sold everyone of them not a single loser.
