Boston area airports for my Mooney

When heading to Boston my bride and I use Norwood OWD. Great service, rental cars available a few steps inside the FBO (FLight Level) It was expensive to hangar but we never leave our plane outside overnight when traveling.

I am looking to replace my 8000B with the blue tooth version (8000BT). I can't find any online. I guess I'll start calling local avionics shops to see what used equipment they might have available. If I cant find one the PMA 8000G is also a slide in but too many options that I don't need or want.

How long do your batteries last?

Recently replaced my eight year old Concorde with another of the same, a Concorde RG35 AXC. My plane is hangared and I do keep a battery specific BatteryMinder on it 24/7 when it's in the hangar.

    Another engine heater question...

Do you folks that leave the preheats on all winter open up the oil dip stick to vent? I have a reiff heaters, oil sump and cylinder bands, but only turn on the night before my flights.

(Rockwell, North American, whatever) Commander 114/115 grass strips?

I fly a 112A and don’t do grass, just my preference. @Stephen Shore may have and I believe he flies a 114.
