I prefer mogas, and definitely prefer grass. We have mogas at the farm, but it's a pain to find it without ethanol and truck it here. I also prefer help fueling the airplane since I'm short and it's hard to reach the top of the wing easily.

I hear ya! Sometimes Tom and I stop to re-evaluate why we work so hard here and wonder what we can quit doing. But then, someone flies in and we thoroughly enjoy visiting with them, or we land here after a trip and we are home when we land. Having good machines make it much easier...

We fly there often, all times of the year. It should be good then. When you know when you will be there, we'll fly down and meet you for lunch. You are welcome to stay at our farm (08MO) near Joplin, MO if it's on your route. We have an apartment in the hangar that some folks have stayed in...

I decided to postpone the rest of the trip because I need to take care of some family issues. But, next time I head down your way to continue on the rest of my trip, I hope to stop and say "Hi!" again. :)

BTW, Joyce, I got beat to a pulp in the Ouachitas. The clouds got lower for a bit, too. Lots of 0G to 2G bumps. But, I landed with lots of fuel left. :)
