Wilco. :) Sounds like we can see some interesting things during a stroll in the area. Thanks. :) I really had no idea what was where and how possible it would be to walk around and see things. I had to Google that. Sounds good!

Suggestions about France/Italy from you worldly travelers?

Thanks again, everyone, for all of your advice, including safety precautions. :) One thing I would really like to do is spend a little time (I wish I had more time) at a sidewalk café in Paris. Any suggestions?

Suggestions about France/Italy from you worldly travelers?

Only our two iPhones, two iPads, Canon battery charger, and extra charger for the iStuff. I hadn't realized about those labels and the ability of those products to be used in Europe! How neat that I won't likely need the heavy converter. I just checked the label on the Cannon battery...

Suggestions about France/Italy from you worldly travelers?

I'll look that up. Thanks. :) Only two days in Paris. We won't get to Normandy this trip, but hope to someday. A question about the voltage converter. Someone loaned us a converter...it sure is heavy. There aren't any adapter plugs in the box. Do I need to get adapter plugs?

Thanks again, everyone for your advice. :) Especially Beth. :) We have narrowed it down to May in Rome, Venice, with a brief stop at Assisi first, Florence, a brief stop at Pisa and Monte Carlo, Nice, a train ride to Paris. Staying two nights at each major city. Is the Moulin Rouge...

    Aviation's Glass Ceiling-why more women don't fly

A lot of women don't have the desire to fly, and that's okay. Why do we feel the need to make them want to fly if they aren't interested? I was pleasantly surprised. :) I don't feel lonely surrounded by hundreds of men...but that's just me. Most male pilots are enjoyable and...

Jed, I was planning on attending, but my son decided that's when he will come visit us here at the farm. Dangit. I'm hoping to fly down to Fort Parker in late April when I get back to my grass strip tour of Oklahoma and Texas.

"The Old Man" Bo Boggs, Gone West.

Bo, I'm so sorry to hear about what you and Sandra have had to, and will need to deal with. It's a tough road, for sure. Your passion for aviation and willingness to share that love has always been an inspiration. I'm hoping you have a favorable prognosis. You will be in my thoughts and...

Yoke deflection, load factor & stall

I asked questions about whip stalls years ago here. Interesting subject. Since that time, I've accidentally done a few and didn't like being on the end of the whip.
